FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Q: “When can I start?”

A:“Whenever you are ready.”

Q: “How long are your courses?”

A:“It is up to you. You pay monthly, so you can start any time and drop out any time.”

Q: “What is the minimum number of lessons I need to take?”

A:“There is no minimum number of lessons you commit to. Still, I would recommend you plan 25-30 lessons (1-2 months) for ‘tangible’ results and short-term goals, and 80-100 (5 or 6 months) for long-term goals. It is common that students stay with us for 2, 3, 5 or even more years.”

Q: “Can I take lessons if I can’t have them regularly?”

A:“Yes, your learning schedule is flexible and it is about building up your language skills, not simply about covering language material.

We work with busy people. Our schedules are organized weekly, or sometimes even on a day-today basis.

So even if your learning schedule needs to be interrupted for one or another reason, as long as the overall learning process is organized and conducted professionally( which it will be with us), you will be making stable progress. And you will enjoy your learning time.

Your curriculum has a structure and your teacher knows when to speed up or when to slow down the pace and how not to let the big gaps in your schedule interfere with your learning rhythm.” .

Q: “What happens if I need to learn a language, but can’t because I travel a lot?”

A:“Same like above

Q: “What happens if I need to cancel at short notice?”

A:“You call and either reschedule or cancel.”

Q: “Do I have to do homework?”

A:”No, you don’t have to. We won’t stop you from doing it, though, and we will gladly organize your beyond-classroom learning activities for you.

But this is only if you want it.

Again, we work with busy people, and it is not realistic to expect them to spend extra time to prepare for class. The learning process happens in the classroom.

What usually happens though, is that, with time our people get even more motivated to learn, and start carrying their SLC notebooks around and spend some ’quality time‘ going through them while at airports, on planes, or in their lunch break.

Everything you need will be in there. I mean, in your notebook. It has the language material selected specially for you.

We are not in favour of you wasting precious time doing boring out-of-context exercises, which needless to say would bring no results.

But we will give you a lot of valuable advice of how to optimize your language practice in your everyday life. This will definitely enhance the results of your learning time.”
